One God - Not 3 God's in one - The Trinity is made up.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css="" css_animation="none"] A @Christadelphians Video: Description: The Bible affirms that God is One. The Son of God has a united purpose with his Father from whom emanates the Holy Spirit which empowered the Son to overcome sin to save us. # Summary The presentation by Kevin Sweeney discusses the concept of God as presented in the Bible, specifically addressing the doctrine of the Trinity, which posits that God exists as three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Sweeney argues against this notion, asserting that the Bible reveals a singular God, Yahweh, and that the idea of a Trinity is a conundrum that lacks logical coherence. He references various biblical texts to support his view that God is one and that the distinctions made within the Trinity are not substantiated by scripture. The presentation aims to clarify the understanding of God as a singular entity, as opposed to a complex Trinity. # Highlights - 📖 **Biblical Revelation of God**: The God of the Bible reveals Himself as a singular entity rather than as three distinct persons, as seen in Deuteronomy 6 where it states, "The Lord our God is one Lord." - 🤔 **Trinity as a Mystery**: The concept of the Trinity is described as a "mystery" that defies human reasoning, which Sweeney argues is contradictory and lacks clarity in biblical texts. - 📜 **Historical Context**: Sweeney shares insights from historical documents, including Catholic doctrine, to illustrate the widespread belief in the Trinity and contrasts it with the singular understanding of God. - 🔍 **Scriptural Interpretations**: The presentation highlights various scripture passages, including those from Exodus and Psalms, to emphasize the oneness of God and the rejection of idol worship. - 🗣️ **New Testament Insights**: Sweeney discusses New Testament references, particularly in 1 Corinthians and Acts, to reinforce the idea that there is only one God and that Jesus is His Son, not a separate deity. - 👶 **Birth of Jesus**: The account of the angel Gabriel announcing the birth of Jesus is examined, with Sweeney asserting that it is God’s power that brings about [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vCOY5YMIfM[/embedyt] [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css="" css_animation="none"]*************************************************************************************** This video was produced by the ChristadelphianVideo.org project, arranged and supported by Christadelphians worldwide. A Fine Tuned Universe is Not Proof of Evolution.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css="" css_animation="none"] A @Christadelphians Video: Description: There are many parts of the universe, which are ‘just right’ – exactly the right conditions for life to exist, or for things to happen as they do. The probability of these coming in to existence by chance is so small, that it can be counted as impossible. This shows us that there is a Divine Creator who sustains all life. # Summary The PRESENTATION discusses the conflict between belief in a Divine Creator and the theory of evolution, questioning the validity of atheism and the meaning of life without God. It argues that the finely tuned universe suggests a Creator rather than random chance, citing scientific and philosophical perspectives to support the existence of God. The speaker emphasises faith and the hope that belief in God provides, contrasting it with the bleakness of life without such belief. # Highlights - 🌌 **The Fine-Tuned Universe**: The universe's precise conditions, such as the cosmological constant, suggest that it could not have arisen by chance, indicating a Divine Creator's involvement. - 📖 **Faith vs. Atheism**: The speaker contrasts personal belief in God with Richard Dawkins' atheistic views, highlighting the lack of meaning in life without a belief in God. - 🔬 **Scientific Evidence**: The presentation discusses the improbability of the universe's existence through chance, using mathematical probabilities to argue that it requires more faith to believe in random evolution than in a Creator. - 🌱 **Existential Questions**: The speaker urges the audience to consider the implications of a life without God, arguing that it leads to nihilism and a lack of purpose. - ✝️ **Hope Through God**: The belief in God provides hope and meaning, as the speaker outlines the Christian perspective on salvation and the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. # keyword #DivineCreator #Faith #Evolution [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RCRoeoGb3g[/embedyt] [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css="" css_animation="none"]*************************************************************************************** This video was produced by the ChristadelphianVideo.org project, arranged and supported by Christadelphians worldwide.
