Revelation 1: Jesus is not God!

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation="none"]A @Christadelphians Video: **YouTube Summary/Description** In this thought-provoking and expositional presentation, we explore one of the most revealing questions in Scripture: does Revelation chapter 1 teach that Jesus is God? By carefully examining the phrase “Alpha and Omega” (the first and the last), we uncover an outstanding truth—both God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, use this title, yet they are clearly two distinct persons. Through insightful verse-by-verse analysis, we demonstrate how the “Lord God Almighty” (Revelation 1:8) refers to the Creator, while the risen Jesus (Revelation 1:17-18) declares He was dead and is alive forevermore. We also explain how Jesus, though not physically pre-existent, was always present in God’s wonderful purpose and plan—from Genesis to Revelation—as the Lamb who takes away sin. This revealing study shows how the Saviour was in the Father’s project from the very beginning, making Him the “Alpha and Omega” in terms of God’s eternal purpose to dwell with redeemed humanity. Join us for this encouraging and inspiring Bible exposition that clarifies who Jesus truly is: the Son of God, our risen Lord, and the one through whom God’s glorious plan will be completed. **Chapters** 00:00 – Introduction: Two Persons, One Title 00:51 – God the Father as Alpha and Omega (Revelation 1:8) 02:35 – Jesus as Alpha and Omega (Revelation 1:11, 17-18) 04:07 – John’s Clear Distinction Between God and Jesus 05:47 – How Can Jesus Be First and Last Without Pre-existing? 08:24 – From Genesis to Revelation: God’s Purpose Fulfilled 09:59 – Conclusion: Jesus in the Father’s Plan, Not as God [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhOZWRTnBDU[/embedyt] **Bible Verse Category** 📖 Revelation 1:8, 📖 Revelation 1:11, 📖 Revelation 1:17-18, 📖 Revelation 21:22, 📖 Revelation 22:12-13, 📖 Habakkuk 2:14, 📖 Isaiah 43:7 We are a Christadelphian team, Brothers and sisters of Christ, and we're passionate about delivering powerful, Scripture-based content to strengthen and inspire your faith journey.
