a @Christadelphians Video:
A @Christadelphians Video: Description: The Bible teaches that Gods Kingdom was based in the land of Israel. We learn about the first Kings and the laws which governed the Kingdom. God was actively involved in this Kingdom. God’s purpose with the Kingdom was to reveal his glory and purpose with the earth.
[Inspiring] What if the concept of a kingdom—often seen as outdated, authoritarian, or irrelevant—holds the key to understanding God’s ultimate purpose with the earth? In this thought-provoking and expositional presentation, we embark on a journey through the Scriptures to uncover the wonderful reality of the Kingdom of God in the past.
We explore how God’s involvement with the nation of Israel was not an afterthought, but a deliberate and revealing demonstration of His sovereign power. From the covenant with Abraham, to the giving of the Law, and the establishment of the throne of David, we see the fingerprints of God in every fundamental aspect of His Kingdom. This insightful study reveals that Israel was designed to be a unique "kingdom of priests"—a light to the nations, showcasing God’s wisdom and justice.
We examine the reigns of outstanding kings like David and Solomon, whose benevolent rule stood in stark contrast to the world's autocratic systems, and consider why God chose a seemingly insignificant nation to be His case study. We also trace the tragic decline, the division of the kingdom, and its eventual overthrow by Babylon, showing that even in judgment, God’s purpose remained unshaken. Finally, we look at the undeniable, miraculous survival of the Jewish people throughout history as a living witness that God is still the Saviour and that His covenant is truly everlasting.
If you’ve ever wondered where God’s Kingdom is, or what His plan for Israel means for the world today, this video provides a clear, Scripture-based foundation.
