Description: By studying the miracles of Jesus we find that they were enacted parables. Those recorded in the early chapters of Mark's Gospel provided lessons not only for those healed but also for the disciples. At that time they were spiritually blind not understanding how they pointed forward to the Kingdom Age when the blind would see and the deaf hear. Jesus makes clear references to the prophecy of Isaiah with a promise the disciples would soon see out of obscurity and darkness and speak plainly the words of salvation to those with ears to hear and eyes to see.
