God's Promises that we may have forgotten!
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css="" css_animation="none"]A @Christadelphians Video: Description: God's promises to Abraham are just as relevant now as they were over the last few thousand years. Through the Lord Jesus we can become part of Abraham's family, and heirs to the promises.
Learn how to become part of the family of Yahweh. God made promises to Abraham 4,000 years ago that would impact his life, his descendants, and the whole world.
These promises, largely forgotten, include being heirs of the world, receiving the land of Israel, and being blessed by God.
Through faith and baptism, we can also become heirs of these promises and live in the Kingdom of God.
💡 The promises made to Abraham were not only for his lifetime but had an everlasting aspect to them. This means that these promises are still valid and will be fulfilled in the future Kingdom of God. -
💡 Abraham's faith and obedience to God's commands played a significant role in him being chosen as the recipient of these promises. Similarly, our faith in God and obedience to His teachings are essential for us to become heirs of these promises. -
💡 The Kingdom of God, where these promises will be fulfilled, will be a world of peace, beauty, and eternal life. It will be a world where righteousness prevails, and the evil and wickedness of our current world will be eliminated. -
💡 Becoming heirs of these promises requires more than just belief; it also requires baptism into Jesus Christ. Baptism symbolizes a new life and a commitment to follow God's commands. -
💡 The promises to Abraham included becoming a great nation, being blessed, and receiving the land of Israel. These promises will come to pass in the future Kingdom, where the descendants of Abraham, both natural and spiritual, will inherit these blessings. -
💡 The Kingdom of God will be ruled by the Lord Jesus Christ, and those who are heirs of the promises will also be joint rulers with Him. They will be made kings and priests, reigning on the Earth. -
💡 The fulfillment of these promises is not limited to the physical descendants of Abraham. Through faith and baptism, anyone can become heirs of these promises and partake in the blessings of the Kingdom of God.
